This webinar will explore intellectual property issues relating to architectural works in Canada, with a particular focus on copyright ownership relating to the works of architects and interior designers. Through a review of copyright and trademark legislation, case law, and recent developments in Canada, we will examine the concept of copyright ownership and infringement, the forms of protection available to ensure legal compliance when designing or working with plans and documents, and best practices to implement when working with architectural works.
